Find below a brief description of our Software Engineering Process

Our Software Engineering Process

Our Software Engineering Process consists of multiple Release cycles each spanning a few weeks to a few months, consisting of a pre-determined Release Specification. The Release Specification consists of priority features and modules that go into that particular Release.

Input for Release Specification

Input for each Release comes from a variety of sources, is collated and converted into a Release Specification

n-Level Customer Base
The largest volume of relevant feedback for each Release Cycle comes from our captive Consumer Base. Tens of Thousands of Resellers, hundreds of thousands of Customers, and several large Web Service Providers and Registrars worldwide actively use our Products and provide daily constructive feedback through various channels both within and external to the software.

Competition Review
A dedicated team of independent Research Associates within the organization prepare regular competition comparison charts which serve as input to the Product Engineering team

Industry Best Practices
Key Personnel in our organization are active participants in various Industry Fora, and play a supportive role in determining and documenting Industry Best Practices and Processes

Compliance Requirements
Various bodies such as ICANN, IANA, IETF, ISOC etc provide soft and hard compliance requirements through their independent consensus based policy development processes. These are factored into our Software Requirements

Feature Prioritization

All of the above inputs are converted into an internal Requirements Specification Format. A set of these are selected based on an internal prioritization process in approximately the following order

  • Compliance Requirements
  • Profit Maximization opportunities for you
  • Upsell opportunities
  • Increased Automation
  • Enhancement of Interface Look
  • Frills

The above steps result in a given Release Specification which serves as the input for the Product Engineering Process resulting in software that you can depend on. Feel free to talk to our LogicBoxes Consultants for further insight into our Software Development Process
